The other all Premiership game has Manchester City facing a short journey to Bolton ’s Reebok Stadium. Sven’s men will be keen to put their 6-0 drubbing against Chelsea behind them but Gary Megson has tried to emulate Big Sam Allardyce’s tactics at Bolton and this can see them returning to be hard to beat, especially at home. The Bolton 1-0 scoreline looks highly appealing at 7/1 with Totesport.

In the outright market Arsenal look the best bet, currently priced at 5/1 with Betfred. All the favourites face relatively easy games in the fourth round, with Arsenal probably having the hardest task at Sheffield United. Presuming they make it through ok, they should be backed with a degree of confidence due to the strength of their reserve side that often features in this competition.

Chelsea are currently favourites for the tournament at best odds of 3/1 with totesport. The same firm are also best odds 4/1 about Liverpool who have a good record in recent seasons in the league cup.
