Following the fourth round draw of the FA Cup, online betting firms have released revised odds for the 2009 competition. Despite only drawing at home to Southend in the third round, Chelsea remain joint favourites with Man Utd at best odds of 9/2 with Betfred.

These two giants probably justify joint favouritism from the bookmakers when you look at the FA Cup stats. Last year when Portsmouh were victorious it was the first time one of the big four hadn’t won the trophy since 1995.

Liverpool, who face a tricky tie against city rivals Everton, are available at best odds of 6/1 with Bet 365. Arsenal, who have won the FA Cup three times in the last seven years, are available at best odds of 7/1 with Ladbrokes.

Nottingham Forrest, who caused an upset by thrashing Man City 3-0 , can be backed at best odds of 400/1 with Sky Bet. They face a trip to rivals Derby County in the fourth round. Last years winners Portsmouth can be backed at 50/1 with Sky Bet, although on current form it would take a brave punter to be backing Portsmouth.
